Mobile Workforce

Do you need to remain in constant contact with your clients and colleagues? A recent study by AVAYA produced the following concerns: More than half of mobile end-users surveyed missed important business meetings, customer inquiries, or business leads due to missed communications. More than one-third said missed communications directly resulted in lost revenues or additional expenses. Two-thirds carry more than one mobile device every day, but most routinely pick up messages late at night, because people can't reach them in a timely manner . With the number of mobile workers reaching upwards of 870 million globally by the year 2009, more and more companies are seeking cost-effective strategies to communicate with each other and their clients as if their employees were sitting at their desks, through one telephone number and regardless of where that employee is actually working – at home, in their car, on a plane, in a hotel…anywhere.
